While there are many musicians in the world, not every musician is a composer. In this program, Patrick explores the process by which musicians write music by helping the audience compose their own song, using visual aids, oral explanation, and his trio's musicianship!

Starting from the basics of music, the audience will collectively:

• Choose a chord progression

• Write a melody

• Create rhythms

• Write lyrics

• Add advanced techniques

 

 By the end of the session, they'll be singing their very own collective composition right along with the trio and feeling empowered, knowledgeable and excited about music!
